Secția de arheologie-istorie etalează în șase săli cele mai reprezentative artefacte care ilustrează evoluția comunităților umane din bazinul Someșului Mare, de la începuturile viețuirii umane până în epoca modernă.

Piesele provin din bogata colecţie de obiecte intrate în colecţii prin cercetare, achiziţii şi donaţii.

The History – Archaeology Section exhibits in six rooms the most representative artefacts illustrating the evolution of the human communities in the area of the Somesul Mare River, from the first traces of human inhabitance up to the contemporary period.

The pieces originate in the rich collection of objects entered into the patrimony of the museum thanks to research, acquisitions and donations.
